James Bowers

Mrs. Barent is our 8th grade counselor. This is her 3rd year as a school counselor, her previous five years were spent teaching at Irving Middle School. She is is also our SCIP Coordinator. 

Mr. Bowers is our 7th grade counselor. Mr. Bowers is alum of Dawes Middle School and he used to be our Child Guidance Counselor. He is currently a school counselor/social worker here at Dawes and this is his third year in this role.

Mrs. McMeen is our Student Support Coach. She has been here for six years. She has been a para, special education teacher and is now our Student Support Coach and 504 Coordinator.

Kathryn Hull is our school Social Worker. She divides her time between here and Huntington. She can be found at Dawes Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. She connects families with resources and addresses any issues that may affect your child at school. Kathryn has been here the longest out of the counseling center.

Haylie is the Registrar here at Dawes Middle School. This is her third year working in the school system.

Mrs. Roehl is our 6th grade counselor. This is her first year as a school counselor. She is also out Gifted Coordinator.
